Use XposterAI from Meta Muse

Muse can build its own connector to any service with a public server. XposterAI has one, so Muse can draft posts in your voice, show you what they'll cost, and schedule posts or whole threads to the networks you've connected — X, Bluesky, Mastodon, LinkedIn, Threads, Pinterest and TikTok.

There's nothing to install and no developer account. It takes about two minutes.

1. Connect your networks

In XposterAI, connect the social accounts you want Muse to post to. Muse can only reach networks that are connected here.

2. Paste this into Muse

Build a custom integration to XposterAI. It is a remote MCP server at https://xposterai.com/mcp (streamable HTTP). It authenticates with one header: Authorization: Bearer <my XposterAI API key>. Ask me for that key through your secure credential prompt, not in this chat. Setup notes written for you are at https://xposterai.com/muse/brief.txt. I want you to be able to write posts in my voice, preview them, and schedule or publish them to my connected social networks from any future conversation. Connect to it, test it by calling accounts.list and credits.get, show me the results, and save the integration as a reusable skill. Always call post.preview and tell me the credit cost before you publish or schedule anything, and wait for my approval.

3. Give Muse your API key — in its secure prompt

Muse will ask how to sign in. Your key is on your Account page under “Connect an AI assistant”. Put it in Muse's secure credential prompt, not in the chat: anything typed into a chat stays in its history. The key is sent as one header, Authorization: Bearer ….

Lost control of a key? “Regenerate key” on the Account page cuts off every assistant using the old one at once.

4. Check it, then use it

Muse should show you your connected networks and your credit balance as its test. After that, talk to it normally:

“Draft a post about my launch in my voice and show me the cost before scheduling.”
“Schedule that for Thursday 9am on X and Bluesky.”
“Write a 6-tweet thread from these notes and queue it for tomorrow morning.”
“What's in my queue?” / “Cancel the last one.”

What to expect

You stay in charge. The message above tells Muse to preview every post, tell you the credit cost and wait for your OK. Set Muse's approval policy for this connector to “ask before it writes” as well.
Same rules as the website. One post credit per network per post; a thread costs one per tweet; an X post containing a link costs 13 and is downranked; at most two X posts a day.
Meta does not review custom connectors. You are trusting XposterAI directly, as you already do on this site. Our privacy policy applies; the server only sees the arguments of each call, never your Muse conversation. Anything Muse schedules or publishes appears in your Activity like any other post, and every call is kept in an audit log.
What we've tested. The server is tested against the official MCP client library with an API key — the same kind of connection Muse builds. Muse writes its own side of the connector, so if its setup asks something unexpected, the plain-text brief has the technical answers.
